Frankston (18-2) travel to Kilsyth (11-11) after defeating the Cobras two weeks ago 81-78 in the dying seconds of the game.  The Cobras played well throughout the contest limiting the scoring opportunities for the Blues.  Despite all their efforts they were unable to put Frankston away and will be keen to avenge the loss this Saturday.

Joe Werner comes into the game back in form as a disappointing game against the Blues and their star import David Gruber, Werner destroyed the Raiders and Lester Strong last weekend with 32 points and 23 rebounds.

It was not just Werner who fired against the Raiders, Gerard Leonard finished with 20 points including 11 in the third term to spur the Cobras. to victory against the arch rival.  His shooting touch has gone missing at times in 2009 but he has found his range over the past few games and will continue to be the Cobras x-factor in their pursuit of the title.

The Blues will still be without League MVP contender Andrew Harms but David Gruber and Rob Kampman will prove the biggest defensive assignments for the Cobras. Quincy Henderson continues to stamp his reputation on the League as a defensive stopper. He held Kampman to 15 points two weeks ago and then restricted CJ Massingale to just 21 points while blocking him 7 times in the Cobras win last week.

The wild card for the Cobras will continue to be Tim Lang who recorded 18pts, 9 rbds against the Blues in their last match up and combined with Werner will prove a handful for the Frankston defense.

The Cobras will take to the court at 7.30pm following a special interstate SEABL match up with the Mt Gambier Pioneers taking on the Hobart Chargers at 5.30pm.
