Welcome to the 2023-24 Cobras Tryout information page. Here you can find information regarding tryout dates and times, coaches, skill preparation and more.
Our Junior Cobra ID Camps are for all new players who did not play within the Junior Cobras program in 2024 (current 2024 Cobra players do not attend).
You must attend these sessions to be eligible for Cobra tryouts.
Tuesday 10th & 17th September 2024
U12 Boys: 6.00pm – 7.00pm K2, K3 & K4
U14 Girls: 4.30pm – 5.30pm K6
U14 Boys: 5.00pm – 6.00pm K3 & K4
U16 Boys: 7.00pm – 8.00pm K3 & K4
Sunday 8th & 15th September 2024
Under 12 Girls: 9.30am to 10.30am on K3 & K4
New U16 (Girls), U18 & U20 players do not have an ID Camp.
You must email mark.watkins@kilsythbasketball.com.au to apply to trial in writing with a brief description of your experience plus your Full Name, Date of Birth, Domestic Club, Height, Contact Mobile & home address.
Players coming from another rep club must bring a completed permission to train form in addition to registering via the link above.

Pre Rep ID Camp Information
Players who did not play Junior Cobras in the 2024 season must attend ID camp.
A panel of coaches will assess each player on their own merits in accordance with the Cobras selection policy
Some feedback is given on the run during drills during the ID Camp.
There is no set number of players selected in each age group.
The panel of coaches meet after the conclusion of the camp to discuss selections. The Director of Coaching has the final say on selections.
Players will be notified via email on their selection or non-selection to attend Cobras tryouts.
Athletes must be actively playing or join the Kilsyth Junior Domestic competition or After School Competition to be eligible for the Cobras representative program.
