Corey Jeffs Re-Ups with Cobras

Imposing wing Corey Jeffs is running it back, returning to Kilsyth for the 2026 NBL1 season.

Jeffs, a former Junior Cobra and Mr Evelyn Meteor, enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign with the Cobras, averaging career-bests in assists (3.2apg) and three point shooting (39%), while ranking third on the team in rebounding (5.3rpg) and fifth in scoring (12.3ppg).

The 6'8 wing proved to be a handful offensively in 2025, with his ability to bully smaller opponents down low, light it up from deep, and facilitate at a high level playing a key role in securing a top-three regular season finish for the Cobras. The Winona State alum eclipsed the 20 point mark on four occasions, with his standout 21 point, six assist performance on the road in against the Sandringham Sabres earning Jeffs the ANZAC Round medal on April 26.

The six year veteran handled a significant workload during the regular season, leading the Cobras in minutes (31.7mpg) as he provided a consistent, dangerous option both on the perimeter and low post. A true Cobra product, Jeffs' promising production bodes well for a Kilsyth team looking to return to the postseason in 2026;  representing the pathway and exciting in the process.
