Cobras point guard Kyle Adnam will miss the remainder of the NBL1 regular season, as he prepares himself for opportunities for the upcoming NBL and overseas seasons.

Adnam spent the tail end of the 2023 NBL season as a member of the Illawarra Hawks, and will utilise the next month to finalise a roster spot to continue his decade-long, 217 game national league career or with an overseas club.

Returning to his home club for the first time since 2016, Adnam ranked second on the Cobras roster in scoring (15.6ppg) and assists (3.2apg), and ranked amongst the NBL1 South’s leaders in free throw percentage (87.0%) across 11 games. The Mount Evelyn Meteors junior scored a season-best 33 points against the Nunawading Spectres in Round 4, and recorded a season-high six assists in back-to-back games against the Waverley Falcons and NW Tasmania Thunder in Round 7.

We thank Kyle for his service this season and wish him all the best with his upcoming basketball opportunities.
