Our Under 12-1 Boys, U18-1 Boys and U18-1 Girls are headed to the National Junior Classic this weekend!
The National Junior Classic is an invite-only tournament featuring the top 16 teams from across Australia in each age group. The top eight Victorian teams from the MUVJBL’s Victorian Championship (VC) division are selected to compete in the tournament, with the remaining eight invitations taken by interstate teams. The Victorian invites were decided after Round 9 of the VJBL season, with the top four teams from each VC pool making the cut.
The Under 18 Boys and Girls will take on the nations best at the State Basketball Centre – with games tipping-off on Saturday morning – while the Under 12 Boys will look for their second Classic title in the past three years over at Dandenong Stadium.
