With teams in the midst of Phase 1 of grading for the 2017 VJBL season, the tournament serves as a team chemistry building weekend as players look to familiarise themselves with their new coaches and teammates. And while much of the tournament’s importance comes off the court, several Junior Cobras teams achieved success on the court as well.
The Under 12/1 Boys, 12/3 Boys, 16/5 Boys and 18/1 Girls each took home Championships over the weekend, while the Under 16/4 Boys and 16/3 Girls fell just short to finish as Runners-Up. Congratulations to all those who entered and good luck for the remainder of grading!
