Win and advance. It’s do or die in the NBL1 postseason, with your Cobra Men playing host to the Bendigo Braves in a blockbuster Semi Final on Sunday.

The Cobras and Braves will battle it out in the Semi Finals on Hugh McMenamin Court for the second straight year, with the Cobras coming out on top in the 2018 SEABL semis.

Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm, with the Cobra Women playing at 1pm IF they fall short in their Qualifying Final at Bendigo on Friday night. A win by the Women on Friday would see them advance directly to a home Preliminary Final on Saturday August 10.

The Cobras won their lone matchup with the Braves this season back in Round 3, defeating Bendigo at home, 100-90. Though they scraped in with the eighth and final playoff seed, the Braves have played some blistering basketball of late, topping the Melbourne Tigers on the road in an Elimination Final on Sunday to set up this weekend’s showdown.

The Cobras entered the postseason with the league’s fourth seed on the back of a 12-8 regular season mark. Undermanned heading into the finals, the Cobras will be boosted by the possible return of Desmond Owili (Kenyan national team), marking the first time in six weeks that they will boast a full roster with the exception of Owen Odigie (knee).

With Sunday your final chance to catch the Cobra Men in action at home, help us pack Hugh McMenamin Court one last time and help our Men keep their season alive!

Tickets are available via Trybooking. Tickets will grant entry to both games on Sunday in the event that it becomes a doubleheader.
