Dick Thomas has announced that he will vacate the role of Kilsyth Basketball General Manager in February 2008. Dick has been in the position for over 9 years and involved with the association since 1975.

After 32 years of loyal service Ruth Woolcock will retire from the office at the end of 2007 and step aside as Association secretary at the next AGM.

Kilsyth has been award the prestigious SEABL Club of the Year at the Annual League meeting Saturday. This coveted award recognises all employees and volunteers of the Kilsyth program. These are the people that put the show on the road for all the players and passionate supporters to participate in.

‘Phil Mundays’ Kilsyth Cobras Will Sinclair, Rohan Gale, Kate Ebzery and Rebekah O’Donnell have all been selected to take part in the 2008 East Coast Challenge.

Earlier in 2007, Kilsyth Basketball donated 10 Kids First Basketballs to Scott Fyffe to take to Africa. Attached is a photo of 3 children from Lake Bunyoni, Uganda. Kilsyth Basketball are going to look into the possibility of organizing a ring for this school.

Kilsyth Basketball has successfully negotiated use of the new state of the art five court facility located at Oxley College/Life Ministry Centre in Chirnside Park.
