Kilsyth — Club Kilsyth Cobras (3-2) dropped their most important game of the season to date against Frankston Blues (6-2) 90-98. In a NBL standard contest both teams exchanged blows on the scoreboard and court with Robert Kampman (1st quarter – chin)

BIG Wednesday Game Preview

Club Kilsyth Cobras get set to battle conference rival Frankston Blues in the first of three Big Wednesday SEABL matches in 2008. Cobras (3-1) sit 1st on the South Ladder while Frankston (5-2) sit in 2nd place, the winner of this game will start next weekend on top.

Papavs wins SEABL Player of Week

Having spent the summer training and playing with the Dandenong Rangers WNBL Program, Clare Papvas has returned home to Kilsyth for the SEABL season and has been a dominate player in each game so far this season.

Lady Cobras fall to Spectres

Nunawading — Club Kilsyth Lady Cobras were defeated 64-84 in their SEABL game against competition leader Nunawading. Clare Papavs led the way with a career high 32 points but the Lady Cobras light on players struggled against the Spectres big bodies.

Cobras rebound with a Victory

Kilsyth — Club Kilsyth Cobras (3-1) got their season back on track with a 91-85 victory over the Canberra Gunners. Led once again by import guard Zach Malvik (28 points) the Cobras led from the opening tip but were made to fight it out until the final siren.

Lady Cobras make it three straight

Kilsyth — Club Lady Kilsyth Cobras (4-2) won their 3rd straight game with an 18 point victory over the Frankston Lady Blues. Clare Papavs was again the star stepping up in the absence of Sarah Parsons to finish with 17 pts and 9 boards.

Big V Youth League Season Preview

Both Big V Youth League teams begin their 2008 Season on Sunday with a cross town rival match against Knox Raiders. The Youth Men will look to consolidate on an improved effort in 2007 while the Youth Women will be looking to make their mark with a young squad.
