Kilsyth Basketball School Holiday Camps are ran during the January, April, July and September/October school holidays. Our Camps are run by a number of specialist coaches, including some of our biggest NBL1 Cobra Men’s and Women’s stars, and open to kids aged from 5 to 15 years old.
JUNIOR CAMP (Ages 5-12)
Enrolment is open to boys and girls aged between 5 and 12 years. Previous basketball experience is not a prerequisite as children are grouped according to their age and ability.
Each session of our program will cover the basic skills of basketball with a particular emphasis on shooting, defence or ball handling each session.
Qualified Coaches and Senior Kilsyth Cobras players will be running these sessions.

The master skill in our great game is one that requires a lifetime of repetitions, and there is no better time than now to start accumulating the volume of work that is needed to become a better shooter.
Athletes at this shooting camp will enjoy the opportunity to have shooting specific feedback provided to them throughout a vast range of drills and situations, that will assist them in becoming better shooters.
The Shooting Camp is designed to provide technical and mechanical support to individuals shot performance. Instruction, repetition, evaluation, correction and more repetition is what this camp is all about.
Participants will be given opportunity to use our Dr DISH electronic shooting guns and be coached by NBL1 players on their shot technique.
The Shooting Camp is led by former Australian Head Coach and Kilsyth Manager of Basketball Operations, Mark Watkins, who has worked with and helped develop a number of world class shooters.

ENROLMENT:
All sessions are held at Kilsyth Stadium. Children are asked to bring a basketball with their name clearly marked.
