The Cobra Women open 2017 against league newcomers Altona, with Kilsyth eager to record a win first up for their new Head Coach, Brett Spicer.  Following a strong finish to 2016, the Women are primed to take a big step forward this year as they look to return to the VYC Playoffs after narrowly missing out last season.

The VYC Men tip-off their season against cross-town rivals and 2016 grand finalists, Ringwood, on Sunday. After navigating through a season of rebuilding in 2016, the Cobras appear close to regaining their stranglehold over the league, which has seen them secure a berth in the VYC championship game in three of the past four years.
