Following the lengthy Christmas break, the Australia Day tournament traditionally serves as a team bonding weekend and an opportunity to shake off the rust as teams head into into the second phase of VJBL grading, which tips-off on Friday February 3. But despite the long layoff, our Cobras flourished over the course of the four day tournament, with 17 of our 33 Junior teams secured finals berths.
Of the 17 finalists, nine teams continued on to make Grand Final appearances, which resulted in five championships for the Junior Cobras Program.
