It was a disappointing round for the Swinburne Kilsyth Lady Cobras who were defeated by Dandenong who went two from two for the weekend. The Rangers second term, where they outscored the Swinburne Lady Cobras 26 to 12 proved to be too strong of a performance for the girls to come back from, going down 68 – 57.
Carley Mijovic was the top scorer for the Swinburne Lady Cobras with 23 points.
In a great result for the Swinburne Kilsyth Cobras, the boys registered their first away win of the season, downing Dandenong in a close contest.
The Swinburne Cobras ability to create second chance opportunities proved the difference. EJ Kusnyer was the standout for the Swinburne Cobras with 25 points whilst Tiri Masunda also played a great game with 16 points.
Head Coach Grant Wallace said of the win “it was a good team effort, however they will need to bring the same level of commitment and attention to detail this weekend against Hobart”.
