BVDL MEN

SANDRINGHAM vs FRANKSTON

Saturday 5th May – 7:30pm

Sandringham is on a three game losing streak, but has been competitive in each game.  If the Sabres can put together four quality quarters of basketball they should win this game comfortably.

BENDIGO vs NUNAWADING

Saturday 5th May – 8:00pm

Despite sitting in third position on the ladder the Spectres look to be the inform team of the competition behind a three game win streak.  Experienced players Hronopoulous, Madder and Blackmore are all contributing quality numbers every week, making them a tough opposition.

DANDENONG vs NUNAWADING

Sunday 6th May – 2:00pm

This game will be a great match with the league’s best offensive team (Nunawading) against a gutsy defensive team.  Dandenong lost their previous encounter in round 1 by 14pts, but the Rangers have been improving each week and have the talent to defeat the high flying Spectres.

KILSYTH vs FRANKSTON

Sunday 6th May – 2:30pm

Kilsyth are undefeated at home this season and should win this game comfortably.  Frankston have struggled for consistency this year and may struggle against the experienced Cobras line-up. 

BVDL WOMEN

SANDRINGHAM vs FRANKSTON

Saturday 5th May – 5:45pm

Although they have only won one game so far this season the Sabres have been competitive in most games and are due for a big victory.  Frankston had a disappointing loss to Bendigo last week and will need to contain Sabres Shannon Perret if they are to return to the winners circle.

BENDIGO vs NUNAWADING

Saturday 5th May – 6:00pm

Nunawading are on a five game winning streak and in striking range of a top two finish.  Coach Spicer has a team with a wealth of talent and should win this game.  Although the Lady Braves are on a three game win streak also and full of confidence.

DANDENONG vs NUNAWADING

Sunday 6th May – 12:00pm

The injury curse has struck the Rangers line-up, with a number of key players all sitting on the sideline.  After losing to the Raiders last week another loss this week to the Spectres could see them lose the stranglehold on top position.

KILSYTH vs FRANKSTON

Sunday 6th May – 12:30pm

Kilsyth are on a disappointing six game losing streak and need to find some offensive firepower.  The Lady Cobras are currently the worst scoring team of the competition averaging only 46.9pts a game.  Frankston should win this game comfortably but lost to Bendigo last week and are looking vulnerable.
