With a commanding 17 point half-time lead, the young Raiders outfit showed no signs of slowing down in the third quarter as they put the defensive clamps on the home team who could only muster up eight points for the quarter. The Raiders poured in 17 of their own and extended the margin out to a game winning 26 with a quarter remaining..

Supercats started well and held a 12pt lead after 5mins of game play.  Hobart never gave up and slowly worked themselves back into the game to trail by 1pt after three quarters.  Scores were tied 60-60 with 30secs remaining, but two turnovers in the dying seconds by the Lady Chargers allowed the Supercats to steal the win.

Despite winning by 5pts the Sabres were in control of the match from the tip-off.  The Sabres led for 35mins of the game and shot a superb 50% from the field.  Sabres youngster produced 25pts, 6rebs and 3blks off the bench.

Despite both teams losing last week, both would have entered this game full of confidence.  Tornadoes Tayla Roberts showed her experience as she dominated the game with 26pts@68%, 13rebs, 1ass, 1stl.

Kilsyth off season recruit Kristen Barnes gave her new local fans something to cheer about by hitting a three pointer with 17secs remaining to send the game into overtime. Barnes again scored two crucial free throws with seconds remaining to seal the win for the Cobras.

In her first game with the Red & Blue, American Import Hilary Carlson sealed the win for the Spectres with a free throw with 19secs.  Nunawading got out to a 13pt lead early in third quarter, but the Lady Chargers produced a late comeback behind imports Laur & Desroches only to have Donkin miss her buzzer beating attempt which would have won them the game.

After two disappointing losses the previous week the Rangers started the game a more focused and determined team, advancing to a 16pt lead after the first 10mins.  Rangers Hope Terdich was outstanding taking it to the Tornadoes twin towers Blicavs and Roberts all game.
