The foundations have been poured and drainage is close to being completed. Over the next few weeks the concrete wall panels will begin to be assembled and it will not be long until the walls and roof are erected.
The $1.9 million redevelopment supported by the State Government, Local Council and Kilsyth Basketball will see the installation of two additional multi-purpose courts to be primarily used for basketball and netball matches and tournaments.
The additional courts will transform the Kilsyth Sports Centre into a six court venue and will enable continued growth for the sport in the Yarra Ranges.
Kilsyth Basketball wishes to acknowledge the continued support of Minister for Sport, Recreation and Youth Affairs and Member for Monbulk James Merlino, Member for Kilsyth David Hodgett and Yarra Ranges Mayor and Ward Councillor Len Cox.
