2007
Grant Wallace returns the team to the conference finals for the second time in three years despite a 10-16 record which just secures 4th position. Former Junior Cobra Jon Croft returns to the line up and Chris Cameron joins Brad Bridgewater in the front court. The Cobras travelled to North West Tasmania in the Semi final and then defeated Hobart on the road for their second trip to Tassie in two weeks on route to the conference final.

- South Conference Runners Up after defeating NW Tasmania and Hobart in finals before losing to Bendigo in the Grand Final.

2005
Grant Wallace in just his second season in charge, after crossing from Nunawading after the 2003 Season, recruited well. Damon Lowery returned to the club while former Spectre and NBL player Paul Flynn also joined the line up. Lowery and Flynn combined with explosive import Josh Poirier who averaged 24 points and 11 rebounds per game.
Curent Cobra Mick Wheeler played his 200th game during the season as did Nick Tenner.
Season Highlights
- 2nd place finish with an 18-8 record.
- Defeat Knox in Preliminary Final before being defeated by Bendigo in the South Conference Final.
- Damon Lowery returns to the Club and is voted into the All Conference team before joining NBL Club Townsville.
- Import Josh Poirier joins the team averaging 24ppg and 11rpg.
- Nick Tenner and Michael Wheeler play their 200th SEABL games for Kilsyth.
- Grant Wallace wins Coach of the Year Award in the South Conference.
Season Statistics
1985
The 1985 Kilsyth Cobras won the Championship from 4th position on the ladder under Player/Coach Gary Fox. The team included the high flying Greg Bartlett, big man Brad Pineau and future 200 game player with the Cobras Tim Corr.
Bartlett averaged 23 points per game and was supported by imports Pineau (18ppg) and Marty Fletcher (17ppg).
Fox went on to have a successful coaching career in the NBL, WNBL and most recently with the Australian Opals at the Olympic Games. He also returned to Kilsyth in the mid 90’s to coach within the Junior Girls program and then led the Lady Cobras to the 2002 SEABL Championship remaining the only coach to win both a men and womens SEABL Title.
Season Highlights
- 4th on the Ladder 19-9 win-loss record and making the finals for the first time.
- Defeated Dandenong in the Semi Final to host the Grand Final.
- 1985 Champions defeating Bulleen 98-87 in the home final in front of over 2,000 fans.

1999
In 1999 the Cobras won the East Conference Final and were ABA National Final Runners Up under Coach Mark Landells The roster included current Cobras DJ Taylor, Mick Wheeler and Adam Jackson while the season kick started the career of future Australian Boomer Luke Kendall.
Damon Lowery led the team in scoring with 24 points per game while Cameron Burns average 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Lowery went on to win the 2001 NBL Championship with Wollongong after hitting free throws after the buzzer in the semi final to send the Hawks into the Championship series against Townsville.
The 1999 roster including six players who went on to play 200 games and seven of the nine all time games played leaders for the Club.
Season Highlights
- Kilsyth finished on top of the East Conference at 25-4 and went onto defeat the AIS 80-74 to win the East Final.
- Damon Lowery voted to SEABL All Conference Team and Mark Landells won Coach of the Year.
- ABA National Runners Up.
