Lady Cobras (11-7) job will not get any easy this week taking on Ballarat after being defeated in a high scoring 100-89 loss against Nunawading last week.  With Ballarat (9-8) the only other team likely of making the finals, a Kilsyth win would almost certainly consolidate a top 4 finish.  Kilsyth have had a few opportunities to move above 4th in 2008 but have not been able to take advantage of the chance.  Kilsyth run home gives them a shot at finishing higher than 4th and earning a home final.

Sarah Parsons 15.2ppg, 5.3apg & 10 rpg and Clare Papavs 16.1ppg & 7.1rpg continue to lead the way for the Lady Cobras and will need a big performance Saturday night.  Desiree Glaubitz will have the task of containing Lady Miner Michelle Musselwhite in the battle that could decide the outcome.

Sarah Parsons will play her 100th SEABL game on Sunday as the Lady Cobras tip off at 12.15pm

Cobras (8-12)  defeated the AIS last weekend in their most important match of the year.  The 22 point win gave Kilsyth the all important split over the AIS who now sit with a 10-10 record.  Kilsyth has six games remaining and will need to win at least 4 games to knock the AIS out of a trip to Hobart for the first semi final.

The challenge will start this weekend for the Cobras as they take on the Ballarat Miners.  Ballarat have dropped 4 of 5 to drop to 4th on the East ladder.  The Cobras will once again rely on Gerard Leonard (18.2ppg) and Joe Werner (19.3ppg & 13.9rpg).

Tip off is scheduled for 2.30pm and we encourage all Cobras fans to get behind your team as they aim to make finals in 2008.
