Following a successful opening week of domestic basketball, we are pleased to announce that we will be reducing all team sheet fees by $5, effective Sunday December 6, 2020.
Currently our team sheet fees have increased due to a number of factors to keep our competitions in compliance with current COVID-19 restrictions. This increase will remain in place until Victoria’s Chief Health Officer and the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria eases COVID-19 restrictions.
These levies cover the additional costs for:
- Disinfecting and sanitising Kilsyth & Lilydale Stadiums (additional to standard cleaning)
- Additional court rental costs – moving to 60 mins time slots for very game
- Increase Referee costs – 60 minute games
- Sanitising of equipment before and after games (bench, computer, basketballs etc…)
- Hand sanitisers for public use
- Biosafety Officers at each stadium
- Signage
- Social Distancing compliance
After reviewing our reopening week, we have made some changes to our COVID-19 safety protocols whilst still complying with DHHS and Basketball Victoria requirements. Included in these changes is a reduction in team sheet fees, and as such, all teams sheet fees have been reduced by $5 effective Sunday 6th December 2020.
