The Kilsyth Junior Cobras have placed a state-best 12 teams in the VJBL’s Victorian Championship division for the 2019 season.

Victorian Championship, known as ‘VC’ for short, features the state’s top 20 teams across both the Boys and Girls Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 age groups, and the ten best Under 21 teams in Victoria. Following a gruelling grading process which began in November 2018, all Cobras ‘First’ teams from each age group made the cut for VC, while our Under 12-2 and 14-2 Boys played their way into the state’s top competition after playing some spectacular basketball to start 2019.

The Cobras 12 VC marks the most in Victoria, with only Dandenong matching that total for the 2019 season. The landmark achievement highlights not only the depth of the Cobras representative program, but our Junior Domestic competition as a whole. The regular season officially tipped-off last week for our Under 12-18 teams, with the Under 21 competition getting underway on Friday March 15.
